Gene is the founder and managing member of Celtic Conundrum. Gene is an accomplished guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter who has been writing songs and music since his early teens. Gene is academically trained on guitar and considers his guitar to be his voice. Along with providing lead and harmony vocals with his bandmates, Gene is known for his skills on 12-string acoustic and electric guitar, and on bass. Gene has performed with other bands and as a solo artist throughout the Americas and Europe, providing vocals and playing guitar and bass guitar.
Through his songwriting Gene discovered a love of Celtic history and folklore, and he began writing songs with threads of Celtic themes fused with Americana and folk traditions. Gene founded the Celtic Conundrum band to express and share the songs and music emerging from this fusion.

Brian provides lead and harmony vocals and percussion for Celtic Conundrum. He is also a multi-instrumentalist who plays percussion, drums, bass, guitar, and keyboards. Brian is a sound engineer who worked for many years at Panda Productions recording studio in Clearwater, Florida. At Panda, Brian honed his recording, editing mixing, mastering, and production skills on projects ranging from heavy metal to bluegrass, and even opera. Brian also worked on audio restoration projects.
Brian comes from a very musical family and his mother’s family band is featured in the video for Celtic Conundrum’s song, “So I’ll Remember.” Brian grew up immersed in many different styles of music from different generations. He has always been fascinated—or even mildly obsessed—with sound in general. From as far back as Brian can remember, he was always playing with audio recording devices and anything related to sound. In fact, Brian’s first impulse upon seeing a new object is usually to see what kind of noise it makes. Brian is a dynamic performer who brings high energy, a very versatile singing voice, and outstanding percussion to the stage with Celtic Conundrum. From the time he joined the band Brian created a very fun vibe, and Celtic Conundrum will never be the same (in a good way)!

Her favorite things are the great outdoors and earthy, rootsy, front porch music. Pamela Jo is a lifelong musician and vocalist whose first instrument was her voice. She started singing at age five and began playing ukulele and later guitar in elementary school. She learned piano and bass guitar in high school, studied classical, jazz, and music theory in college, and later took up banjo and mandolin. If it has strings and frets, hammers and keys, or otherwise makes a musical sound, Pamela Jo considers it her kin.
Pamela Jo has performed at music venues and festivals throughout the southeastern U.S. and abroad. She has won awards in women's vocals, group vocals, and banjo at the Florida Old Time Music Championship. She is a music instructor and has taught workshops in banjo and harmony singing at the Florida Folk Festival and the Will McLean Festival. As a member of the Celtic
Conundrum band, Pamela Jo provides lead and harmony vocals and plays banjo, guitar, and mandolin.
